Bangkok Bound

Testing, Testing.... Never having blogged before, I am looking forward to this new way of communication between us for the next 10 months. I arrive in Bangkok, Thailand on August 3rd and head straight to Khao Yai National Park http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khao_Yai_National_Park which is 5 hours NE of Bangkok. I will be living there with 3 graduate students (one of whom is from Japan!) and assisting with data collection on the use of night trees by Gibbons until January 2011. Afterward I am on a world traveling adventure to Cambodia, Borneo, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Croatia and Spain. If all goes according to plan, I will be back in The States in May or June. If anyone is interested in meeting up with me for any leg of the journey, I sure would love for you to join me!

    Great looking blog--
I've always admired your craving desire to know the world in which you live. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you delve into this new chapter of your life--free of office/city life and the comforts we so often take for granted. Maybe I'll see you in Europe! Have fun. love ya xo
